Campaign for good roads today

Concerned Citizens of Nagaland (CCN) has informed the public that a peaceful campaign for good roads on the theme “Good Roads, Citizens’ Right” would be held in Dimapur from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on May 14, 2016. In a press release, CCN core group member Roko Chakhesang has requested all concerned citizens desiring good quality roads in Nagaland to assemble near Town Hall, Supermarket at 8:30 a.m. According to CCN, after holding a short programme, a representation would be submitted to the state authorities through deputy commissioner (DC), Dimapur. After the programme, the organisers and volunteers would proceed to Holy Cross Junction, Nagarjan Junction, and Purana Bazaar area to paste slogan stickers on vehicles of willing citizens.
