All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation (ANCSF) has reiterated its demand to the Department of Co-operation, Govt. of Nagaland, to expedite the implementation of centrally sponsored scheme-Integrated Co-operative Development Project (ICDP) in five districts of the state.
In a press note, president, ANCSF, Kedou-Wetsah, stated that it had observed a remarkable boost in the economy of co-operative societies in three districts where ICDP scheme was recently concluded.
Further, All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation also appealed to the concerned authority and the government to lift the blanket ban imposed on NCDC scheme since 2000 by the cabinet.
In this regard, All Nagaland Co-operative Societies Federation stated that when the Govt. lifted the ban for a year in 2005, it yielded desired results and added that banning such central schemes had negative implications on the economy thereby depriving co-operative societies an opportunity to venture into different fields of activities.
