The District Congress Committee Tuensang has successfully carried out the plantation programme to commemorate the125th birth anniversary of Lt. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, as per the resolution of the NPCC.
The DCC Tuensang team led by its president N. Mosha, including ex-candidate N. Mongba and PCC member Yintin, carried out the plantation drive at the compound of Sao Chang Govt. College, Tuensang on June 7.
The general secretary (Admn) DCC Tuensang, Pakhiu Khiam appreciated the department of DFO Tuensang for issuing necessary saplings and the authority of Sao Chang College for their kind co-operation. The DCC Tuensang further stated that, through this programme the DCC Tuensang could contribute something towards the protection of “our” dying environment.
