Mokokchung District VDB Association (MDVDBA) has extended full support to the pen down strike going on since June 8 in regard to release of pending salary of DRDA staff at the earliest.
MDVDBA in a press note by its president, Dr. Imti stated that DRDA staff across the were carrying out all the works assigned for development of the villages with utmost dedication and sincerity throughout the year and implementing the centrally sponsored schemes and different projects with determination for the rural people despite their salary which has not been released for the past 12 months by the state govt. MDVDBA has therefore appealed the state govt to look into the matter and release the pending salary of DRDA staff of Nagaland without further delay.
