Aadhar seeding camping held at RD block Wakching

The program was attended by representatives from each village under RD block Wakching, who were informed that Aadhaar card has become mandatory for all the job card holders for availing the MGNREGA schemes, as the benefits would be credited to their accounts directly under direct benefit transfer. 

The block officials also directed the chairmen and VDB secretaries to make necessary correction in their documents as the name mentioned in Aadhaar should tally with the name in job card and bank account. The village council were also directed to rectify and verify the job card holders of their respective villages and submit the Aadhar number to the block office so as to upload them in the MGNREGA MIS database.
