Parliamentary secretary for Land Revenue, VG and Women Resources Development, L. Khumo inaugurated the NST bus service from Tuensang to Panso EAC Hq. on June 15 at Panso EAC Hq.
According to DIPR report, chief guest urged the people of the village to cooperate with the NST department and to take care of the government property as their own.
The programme was chaired by EAC Panso, Nchumthung Ezung, invocation prayer by pastor TTBC Khumong and welcome address by Panso Area GB’s Union president, Chillio. Short speeches by NST department ADM, Thenungehui, president NPF, Tuensang Division, Lusang, vice president KTC, LL Buming, head DB, Yakhur village. Special number was presented by Khulio Keng.
Vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary, Panso Area GBs Union, K. Tukho. Cultural troupes from Lengnyu village cultural club, Pathso village cultural club, Pathso Noken cultural club performed during the function.
A host of dignitaries including commandant VG Tuensang, SDO (C) Thonoknyu, BDO Panso, SDO (PWD) Thonoknyu and government officers attended the programme. The chief guest flagged off the NST bus after the programme.
