Chang Union (CU) and Chang Students’ Union (CSU) of Saksi NAP sector 13th ward have supported the ultimatum served on the power department to install of 33 KV transformer on or before July 7, 2016 by Saksi NAP sector 13th ward public, Tuensang.
In a joint press release, CU Saki president H.Wongto Chang and CSU Saki president Nato Y. Chang alleged that the public have suffered enough without electricity for more than three months but the department turned a deaf ear to their numerous appeals.
Reaffirming that they strongly supported the ultimatum, the two bodies said that inability of the power department to replace the damaged transformer for a long period was beyond tolerable limit.
They cautioned that the public could not hold any more patience if department failed to install the transformer.
