Parliamentary Secretary for Soil and Water Conservation, Pukhayi Sumi on Monday asserted on the need of having a separate logo for District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Zunheboto. He was chairing Zunheboto DPDB monthly meeting at DC Conference Hall.
According to DIPR report, during the meeting, the members after thorough deliberation have constituted a committee with SDO (C), Zunheboto Hollohon as convenor, HODs of Agri and Allied Sectors, DCO (Culture) and DFO (Forest) as members for the same.
In the meeting the board members have also decided to select and adopt one village from each constituency under Zunheboto district as model village so as to encourage economic growth and to boost production. Zunheboto DPDB members were also constituted to select the villages.
The board also approved registration of VK People Organization, Green Club Zunheboto and opening of Kids Home Academy at Tokiye town.
ADC, Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla Imchen also suggested for joint DPDB meeting with neighbouring districts so as to exchange views and also to see the functioning of other districts.
It has been informed that department of forest, environment and climate change and education department will present power point in the next meeting.
