‘Tall and Slender’ show today at Hotel Acacia

The Planners, in association with Blue Wings and Sulimi, presents ‘Tall and Slender’- ‘Promotional showcase of Naga ethnic attire in global fashion’ today 6 p.m at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur.

The show would focus mainly on promoting local designers and ‘our’ rich cultural and traditional attires in modern age. 

According to the organisers, not only will the show promote local designers, it will also highlight the need to preserve ‘our’ culture, ethnicity, and traditions- our true identity.

Also the organisers expressed hope that the show would create new avenues for the young creative designers, and would be a small step towards preserving our traditional ways of weaving and knitting, a humble attempt through fashion to bring all ethnic groups and tribes under one umbrella.

Special guest artist would include Alobo Naga, Shalo Kent, Joseph Konyak and many more.

Show Stopper of the programme would be Veineinem Singsong former Miss Nagaland and also the reigning jewel queen.
