Former Congress party workers including veteran leaders of 2-Dimapur-II Assembly Constituency on Saturday officially merged with the NPF to support Urban Development Advisor, S.I Jamir and his leadership.
Affirming their support to the leadership of S.I Jamir, sitting MLA of 2-Dimapur-II Assembly Constituency, 58 former Congress party workers joined the NPF party at a programme held on Saturday in the presence of the MLA and 26 officer bearers and members of the NPF.
More former Congressmen would be joining the NPF party, a former Congress leader said.
