A free sterilization camp was held under the theme take responsibility, make plans” in continuation of the World Population Day and Population Stabilization Fortnight on July 20 at Community Health Centre (CHC) Changtongya for the villagers of Changtongya and Tuli block.
During the camp, 33 laparoscopic sterilization and 12 copper- T insertion were performed after conducting all the formalities.
Services of ambulance from nearby health units were utilized for picking and dropping of beneficiaries.
The camp was organized by the DPO (UIP & RCH) Mokokchung, Dr Temsuyanger with the assistance from IMDH Mokokchung, Dr. Ademla Gynecologist and team, ZLO Mokochung, Dr. Ayangla and MO Mongsenyimti, Dr Rachel, SMO CHC Changtongya, Dr. Imtijungshi and his staffs also assisted the camp.
