Extending its support to the Rengma Hoho demand’s for creation of Tseminyu district, the Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) on Friday said it has decided to fully cooperate and join the rally scheduled to be held on July 27, 2016 at Tseminyu town. In a press release, the RSU president RN David Magh and general secretary Kegwalo Kemp asserted that demand was the genuine right of the Rengma community, which has been neglected since the statehood despite continuous appeal. RSU affirmed to cooperate with the Hoho and other frontal organizations till their demand was fulfilled. Meanwhile, RSU has requested school authorities under Tseminyu sub-division to send class 9 students and above to participate in the rally. It also requested students to reach Tseminyu Town Hall by 9.30 a.m. on that day.
