Tuensang DPDB discuss developmental issues

Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on July 22 at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Conference Hall under the chairmanship of DC and vice chairman of DPDB Tuensang Alem Jongshi.
According to DIPR report, the house discussed scheme of national bravery awards to be forwarded to NGOs in the district for the recommendation. 
The board also discussed the construction of slaughter house at Tuensang where the members referred to ADC Tuensang to monitor the situation for temporary arrangement of Slaughter house till DPR is finalized. 
The meeting also recommended for upgradation of Temjen Memorial School (private) Kuthur Village from class 6 to 8 to the concerned department; renewal and registration of NGOs of United Lieshipung Area Welfare Society, Integrated Development Society, Huker Aphulung Welfare Society, Throngchen Mulong Society, Pangsha Area Public Welfare Society, Sedang Cultural Club ChongdoPongyong and Frontier Development Society.
Power point presentation was given by  SP Tuensang Vikram Ezung on Traffic Related Accident and Crime Emergency Response (TRACER). He said TRACER will help quicker Identification of owner, driver in case of accident, Filtering of fake/ invalid Driving License and Documents , vehicle Thieves and misuse of vehicle by unauthorized person. 
It was informed that tracer was to be implemented on registration of all commercial vehicle at designated office, consolidation of database, frequently updated tracer data and bulk SMS and whatsapp service to registered Mobile number and Query based replies through 24/7 helpline and Passenger assistance helpline.
The board also welcomed new member DPO Social Welfare Tuensang Khehoshe Sema. Earlier, after reviewing the last month meeting minutes the board felicitated academic toppers of Tuensang district.tt
