As part of the DBHSS alumni meet 2016, a newly constructed building and auditorium were blessed by provincial of Dimapur province, Fr. Nestor Guria SDB on August 13.
Speaking on behalf of the past pupils, Dr. Apong Longchar, a paediatrician in Nikos Hospital, emphasized that school become dearest to a person after one’s own family. He exhorted his fellow colleagues to have the attitude of gratitude towards their alma mater. The programme was graced by four hundred past pupils.
The following persons were elected as the office bearers for tenure of three years president L. Imtikumzuk, vice president P. Phutoli Zhimomi, general secretary Yongkongnuksung, asst. general secretary Ruth, treasurer, Anand Sethi, advisor Dr.Apong Longchar.
Some of the features of the programme included Ao cultural dance, Lotha modern folk song, Shaolin Kungfu demonstration, choir piece, special performances by Paper Sky and George Wangyat Wangsu.
