Tenyimi Union (TU) Mon visited children’s home “Canal Orphanage” at New Site colony in Mon town, on the occasion of India’s Independence Day on August 15. A press note by TU Mon president, Rajuselie Lhousa stated that pastor of Tenyimi Church, Mon, Menuolhoulie Sekhoses hared Bible verse from Psalms 3:3-6. The visiting team handed over some consumable and non-consumable items besides distributing sweets to the children. The proprietor, Yeangshong Konyak, presented a brief report and said the children’s home was established in 2014 and entertained orphans as well as the less privileged children. TU Mon also expressed sincere appreciation to the deputy commissioner of Mon district for assigning a Samaritan service to the TU Mon.
