Drug worth around Rs. 8 lakh seized in Kohima

Kohima police seized banned drugs worth around Rs. 8,04,400 from a Manipur bound passage bus on Thursday at around 7 am at Peducha check gate. 

According to PRO of Kohima police Atu Zumvü, 72,440 capsules of banned Spasmo proxyvon drug and 8,000 tablets of Nitrosun were seized from the possession of four persons. 

The four were identified as Ibem (30), Md. Akthar Khan (24 ),  Ziaor Rahman (33) and  Md. Hashim Khan (29). 

Accordingly they were taken into police custody for possession and transportation of the banned drug, PRO said. In this connection, a regular case has been registered against the arrested persons at Sechü(Zubza) P.S.
