LC peace-poster contest

Lions Club (LC) of Dimapur and Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda organised the Lions International 29th “Annual Inter-School Peace-Poster Drawing Contest” under the theme  “A Celebration of Peace” at Lions Centre on Sunday wherein 23 schools of Dimapur participated.
Welcoming the participants, secretary, Lions Club of Dimapur Lion Gopal Sharma, encouraged the participants to win the grand prize of $5000 from Lions International. 
Lion Ajay Sethi, chairman of Lions Peace Poster Contest shared about the rules and regulations of the contest. 
Lion Chubala Mukherjee, chairman, Peace Poster Contest from Lions Club of Dimapur Blue Vanda offered vote of thanks while teacher of Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School shared his experience of the contest.  Lion Sumit Jain read out the Lions invocation while Lion Lalita Khadria and Leo Ankit Bhartiya lead the gathering for flag salutation and national anthem.
Meanwhile, Ajay Sethi, chairman of Lions Peace Poster Contest has informed that the drawing entries of the 60 participants would be sent to Guwahati for judging the best 3 entries for local awards. 
The winning entries will then be forwarded for further more 3-level contests in the Lions’ District, Multiple-District and International level competition. Local level 3 finalists’ cash awards and certificates would be awarded on October 23 on the occasion of Lions Deepawali Mela to be held at Lions Centre, Midland.
