In view of several dengue cases being reported in private hospitals and clinics in Dimapur district through Rapid Card Test, chief medical officer (CMO), Dimapur Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi has requested the hospitals to send the RCT positive samples to the Sentinel Surveillance Site Lab at District Hospital Dimapur. The samples would then be tested with ELISA Test, a WHO approved confirmatory test for Dengue, Dr. Kinimi added. It also said for sample collection one may contact– 9436007335.
