Community Educational Centre Society (CECS) has launched “a comprehensive textbook for non-formal education” divided into two categories for lower class and higher class respectively according to the age. The textbooks are a compilation of the subjects English, Mathematics and Science.
Community Educational Centre Society was founded in 2005 and has been implementing non-formal education since 2008.
Its aim is to identify vulnerable and marginalized children involved in child labour, also the risks involved of being street children. Its target is to enroll these children for non-formal education and mainstreaming them into formal schools.
CECS believes that every child has the right to education and a safe and happy childhood with access to protection, education, nutrition and health care and to actively participate in their development and to take charge of their lives.
