All Nagaland Taxi Association headquarter Kohima held its raising day cum annual picnic on November 18 at Tsiesema ground (basa) with president Kohima village youth organization (KVYO) Medozhatuo Rutsa as the chief guest. Rutsa in his address stressed the importance of maintenance of discipline, decorum and cleanliness of the taxi drivers as they were the people who first came into contact with tourists. He said the KVYO along with the officials of the ANTA should coordinate to bring out the best for the welfare of the association. The programme was chaired by GS ANTA Ketsusielie Khruomo, invocation prayer by Lezoto Pahino, presidential address by Vibasetuo Solo, action committee report by Dziesevituo Solo. Vote of thanks was proposed by Meyieho Hibo. Around 600 members and 400 taxis attended the programme.
