AR apprehend ‘arms dealers’

Based on specific intelligence, troops of 41 Assam Rifles along with police representative on January 12 launched an operation in 6th Mile, Sovima Village, Dimapur.

According to AR, during the operations two individuals were apprehended along with one 9 mm pistol, two laptops, two mobiles and 25 bottles of rexcod syrup.  

The apprehended individuals were identified as Sadam Husain (25) son of Abdul Kalam, resident of 6th Mile, Sovima, Dimapur and Kevi Yalie (37) son of P Rathing, resident of  6th Mile, Sovima, Dimapur. 

AR informed that the arrested persons along with the recovered items were handed over to Diphupar Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation.
