DPDB Phek, Zunheboto, Tuensang meeting conducted

First District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Phek meeting for the year 2017 was held on January 12 under the chairmanship of Phek Deputy Commissioner & DPDB vice chairman, Murohu Chotso.
January 12 meeting reviewed the last meeting minutes. The house also decided to declare the Lekhromi village as cardamom village in Phek District, stated a DIPR report.
Regarding the registration of society of Kuzhami Baptist Church Association Hqs, Pfutsero Town, Phek District the meeting decided to recommend the matter to the Government for necessary action. 
Adoption of School by Administrative officer for supervision and monitoring committee was taken up and the work distribution for coming Republic Day was also done.
Department of Evaluation Phek highlighted the departmental activities where it was stated that the main function of the Department is to undertake evaluation studies on the interventions/Schemes/programmes of the government to assess whether the programmes are impacting the targeted beneficiaries at the grass root level and to suggest ways and means to bring about improvement in their formulation and execution. 
Officer from department of PWD (R&B) Phek Division, Er. Abija Khing also presented departmental activities where he stated that the Department strives to judiciously execute all the departmental activities sanctioned by the government from time to time.  He appealed to every individual to extend cooperation and moral support for further development in the interest of public service and overall development of the District. 
ZUNHEBOTO: Monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Zunheboto meeting for the month of January was held on January 9 at DC’s Conference Hall. The meeting was chaired by deputy commissioner and vice chairman, T. Roy.
At the meeting, DSO (Statistical), Lhokiye spoke on the need of NST bus service between Zunheboto and Mokokchung where the board agreed to forward the matter to the Transport Department.
SDO (C), Holohon Yepthomi, who is also the Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), highlighted the poll detailment for the forthcoming Town Council Election.
District Soil Conservation Officer (DSCO), Zhekheto Awomi spoke on Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) conducted by KVK, Lumami and requested all Agri and Allied departments to attend the program. Medical Superintendent, District Hospital would highlight their departmental activities in the next meeting.
A meeting in connection with forthcoming Republic Day celebration was also held whereby work distributions among various departments were chalked out. Further EAC, Kemciyile informed that list of work distribution would be dispatched at the earliest and asked all heads of offices to comply with the assigned duties.
TUENSANG: District Planning and Development Board Tuensang meeting was held on January 11  at DC conference hall Tuensang, chaired by deputy commissioner Tuensang, Alem Jongshi and was attended by almost all of the members of the forum. The house further discussed renewal of registered societies and concluded with the work distribution for the forth coming Republic Day on January 26.
