Information with regard to Urban local bodies election

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur has informed all the polling officials appointed for the forthcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) election that second round of training will be held on January 20 at 11 a.m. for presiding officers & polling officials and 1.30 p.m. for 2nd & 3rd polling officials at Dimapur government college. 
Further, the DC has informed that the third phase of training has been tentatively scheduled to be held on January 28 and that any changes will be intimated later. 
Strict disciplinary action will be initiated against those polling officials who fail to turn up for the second phase of training as the provisions of the representation of the people Act, 1957, stated the press release.  
ADC & RO DMC: Additional deputy commissioner and returning officer Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), Elizabeth Ngully has informed all the voters of the DMC election to collect their voter slips from their respective polling stations on the January 23 and 24 from 10a.m to 4 p.m.
ADC has also informed that in case a voter is unable to come personally, the same can be collected by any of the adult family members or the head of the household.
The ADC has further informed that, any of the following documents may be used for authentication; Aadhaar card, ST/Indigenous Certificate with Photographs issued by the government, Driving Licence, EPIC, government issued Identity cards, Bank Pass book with photo or PAN card.
