Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO), Mon Honje Konyak has informed all the citizens of Mon District that, 7th National Voters’ Day (NVD) would be observed in all the sub-divisions and District headquarter of Mon on January 25 on the theme “empowering young and future voters”.
In this regard, the DC has invited all the HoDs of the district, NGOs and well-wishers to be part of the celebration. DC has also requested all AEROs of the district to make necessary arrangements for the programme in their respective sub-divisions.
Further, the DC has informed all the winners of district level essay competition for both college and higher secondary level to attend at Mon headquarters and collect the prizes during the function.
