PVHSS annual prize giving ceremony

Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur held its annual prize giving ceremony, 2016-2017 on January 11 at Pranab jubilee auditorium.
The programme was graced by Swami Biswapremanandaji Maharaj, assistant secrftary, BSS Kolkata as the chief guest and Swami Dyaneshanandaji Maharaj, member of the executive body of central committee of BSS as guest of honour. 
In his speech, Swami Biswapremanandaji Maharaj applauded the management, teachers and the students of the Vidyapith for their untiring effort to make the school a premier altar of education in the whole state. 
Principal of PVHSS, Monoj Bhattacharjee presented the school annual report. Founder headmaster, L.C. Das urged upon the students, teachers and parents to extend their selfless co-operation to shape the school into a glorious centre of learning. 
The chief guest also unveiled the school magazine “Pranabam”; prizes were awarded to the winners of inter school/ college essay competition followed by a cultural programme staged by the students of the school.
To mark the centenary celebration of BSS, the devotees and well-wishers of the Sangha organised a colourful procession with centenary “Ratha Jatra” on January 12, which started from BSS mandir premises and there was also a religious congregation held at noon in the mandir premises. On February 13, a universal peace yajna would be held at Dimapur Railway High School campus at 6 p.m. BSS has invited all and sundry in this yajna.
