One day “faculty development programme on research methodology” was organized by Research and Development Cell, Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE) Kohima at the College Auditorium on March 10.
Dr. B.V.Rao, assistant professor, Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima campus, was the resource person. Speaking on research methodology, the resource person stressed on the need to create awareness on research and research oriented teacher-educators.
He highlighted the different topics on research-nature of research, techniques and tools, importance of review of related literature and different funding agencies to follow up research in India and abroad.
The programme was chaired by Asen Longchar, convenor, Research and Development Cell, invocation by Neingulaü Theünuo and vote of thanks was delivered by Devanand Sinha, principal, MITE.
