Wokha Town Catholic Youth Association (WTCYA) organised “youth pilgrimage” under the theme “Love your Enemies and Pray for those who persecute you- Mt. 5:43-48” on Saturday for Parish youth at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
The pilgrimage journey began with praise and worship led by Precila Humtsoe, followed by way of the cross, special rosary, video presentation, special number, choreography and taize prayer presented by different youth groups. The pilgrimage concluded with a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Christ King Parish Priest, Kohima Rev. Fr. Peter.
In his message, the Parish Priest urged upon the youth to show love and respect to “our” neighbours as it was a basic foundation of Christian living. The vote of thanks was delivered by WTCYA president, Wobenthung Patton. Altogether 75 youth participated in the pilgrimage.
