Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH) Nagaland celebrated its 12th Foundation Day at its campus, Medziphema on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Dean, SASRD, Nagaland University, Professor R C Gupta, congratulated the institute for its role in the development of horticulture in the eight North Eastern states.
He appraised the efforts of the director and officers of the institute for their dedicated service during the past years.
Earlier, CIH director, Dr. Lallan Ram, in his welcome address, presented a brief outline on the activities and programmes of the institute.
The programme was compered by Prabin, MS and vote of thanks was delivered by Shisarenla, AHS.
Various indoor and outdoor games were organized as a part of the celebration programme and prizes were distributed to the winners.
