TU opposes rally on demand for Aboi district

Totok Union (TU) has strongly opposed the schedule rally on demand for Aboi district on April 12 at public ground Aboi town, as it was without the knowledge of Totok. 
In a joint press statement, Totok Chingnyu village council chairman J.K. Yeanglong Konyak, convener Angtong Konyak and Totok Students’ Union president C. Phongnyei Konyak stated that Aboi belong to Totok also and therefore, appealed to Deputy Commissioner Mon not to allow the rally without setting the issue. 
They further cautioned that in the event, the rally was carried out the TU would be compelled to impose indefinite chakka bandh and would not be responsible for any consequences.
