KDSU appeals for reviving AHC in Guju

Kasha Daho Students’ Union (KDSU) has appealed to the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry to revive the abandoned Animal Health Centre in Guju village, Tseminyu.
A press note by KDSU president Kegwayhun Tep stated that the animal health centre at Guju village, Tseminyu have been neglected for more than a decade which needed immediate attention.
KDSU stated that livestock farming was one of the most important means of livelihood for most of the rural population and inevitably the key to food, security and economic growth.
In this regard, KDSU stated that due to the non-functioning of animal health centre the villagers faced difficulty in treating the sick animals on time leading to the economic loss.
Kasha Daho Students’ Union also requested the concerned department to revive the animal health centre at the earliest since the eight villages under Kasha area Tseminyu sub-division relied on the department for animal health care.
