GHSS stages street play on smoke free Dimapur

Students of Government Higher Secondary School Dimapur as part of the smoke free Dimapur campaign, staged street plays in DC office compound and NST bus station on May 3.

The street play has been initiated to create awareness about the law on banning smoking in public places and also about the health consequences of exposure to second hand smoke. In DC office, SDO Civil, James Swu highlighted about the objective of smoke free Dimapur campaign and he also appreciated the students for coming forward to involve in the campaign.

Dist Nodal Officer NTCP, Dr C Tetseo appreciated the principal, teachers and students of GHSS for their cooperation and he called upon other tobacco free institutions to do the same.
