St. John Hr. Sec. School Tuensang celebrated its golden jubilee from April 21 to 23 along with a re-union of Alumni Association SHJSS Tuensang under the theme, “way forward” on April 24 evening.
During the programme, homage were made to departed friends by EMRS administrator, L. Sungmo and invocation by youth pastor CBL, Saksi, Bengangmongla.
Welcome note was addressed by Rev. Fr. Johnson, reflections was shared by Tsachola while Wapang, IGP (R), Nagaland spoke on the topic, “Way Forward”.
Powerful and challenging speeches were also delivered by other senior and respected alumni members such as O.T. Chingmak, secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, K.S. Anden, director DUDA, John Tsulise, ADC Meluri and Nzano.
Special number was presented by Atula N Jamir and vote of thanks by president, James Chang, and benediction by Kihola, women leader, DEF Church, Tuensang.
The event was blessed by the presence of dignitaries like Alem Jongshi, DC, Tuensang, Vikhram Ezung, SP, Tuensang, commandant, 40thAssam Rifles and Sentiyanger, commissioner, Nagaland who was also an alumni.
The office bearers and executives of the association expressed their gratitude to all alumni members who had contributed financially and physically to make the event a grand success and for willingly contributing to assist for Science lab at SJHSS.
