Changtongya sub-divisional departmental coordination forum meeting was held on April 28, under the chairmanship of SDO (C) Chumlamo Humtsoe and hosted by APRO, Changtongya.
According to DIPR report, the house reviewed the meeting minute of the last meeting and also decided to extend financial aid to the victims of April 24 fire incident through the SDDCF welfare fund.
The chairman encouraged all head of offices to perform their duties and also requested the officer in-charge to ensure security to the public through the police personnel of the town.
The house also resolved to let the town hall only for public functions. The house decided that the security personnel would be accommodated at the present BDO Quarter. On the issue of cash crunch faced by all government employees at SBI Mokokchung, the house decided to write to the deputy commissioner, Mokokchung. The meeting further entrusted the Electrical department to look after the street lighting of the police points. The meeting also decided to propose setting up of a fire brigade station at Changtongya in the next DPDB meeting through the chairman.
