ATMA Wokha Sanis Block organised a programme on “field day cum demonstration on piggery” on April 28 at Baghty, wherein Konthungo (Supervisor, Dept. of Vety & Animal Husbandry Wokha) demonstrated to the farmers on de-worming of piglets/pigs and subsequent necessary food supplement to the animals.
A press note by BTT convener ATMA, Mhomo Murry stated that during the field day, the farmers were made aware about the significance of the day and the eventual benefits at right time harvest with newer technical inputs. Altogether 18 farmers participated in the programme.
Similar programme were also organised on the same day on “mobilisation of SHG cum field day on fishery” at Monfort School farm site at Baghty. BTT convener Mhomo Murry enlightened the farmers with the core concept and the role of SHG, wherein a group of the same was formed with the participation of around 18 (eighteen). The programme ended with the field day exposure at the fish farm site.
