A day-long “career guidance and students counselling” was organized by Dimapur Lotha Students Union (DLSU) at Lotha Hoho Ki, Dimapur on Tuesday for the benefit of HSLC and HSSLC students and those who have appeared exam.
The seminar was held on the theme, “build your future”. Even though the turnout was not so encouraging, resource persons from various field and young experts covered various topics that were beneficial to the students in choosing their future. In the first session, resource person from Youthnet led by head of training, Nuneseno informed the students in taking decision at the right time. She not only informed the students on the various courses but also gave an insight details and background on the opportunities available in the state. In addition, participating students took the opportunities and voiced their doubts. Students also actively took part in the interaction session. In the afternoon session the resource persons were Nagaland flying and Adventure Sports Association chairman Myingthungo Ababe Ezung, The Institute for Music Education (TiME) director Yanpothung Humtsoe and East Air and charter service base manager Mhonjan Humtsoe. The workshop was chaired by DLSU vice president, Wontsuthung Humtsoe.
