Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) Dimapur celebrated the 156th birth anniversary of Rabindra Nath Tagore on May 9 at Pranab Jubilee Auditorium.
PVHSS secretary and in-charge, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Dimapur & Karbi Anglong District Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj speaking at the programme dwelt upon the life and activities of Rabindra Nath Tagore. He also announced the results of HSLC & HSSLC (Science & Commerce).
At the programme welcome speech was delivered by A/T Dilip Das and short speeches were delivered by Ananyo Chakraborty of class-12, senior teacher Ashok Kumar Ray and principal Monoj Bhattacharjee.
The programme was followed by a cultural extravaganza hosted by A/T Sharmistha Mukherjee, Ananyo Chakraborty and Debashree Dey and vote of thanks was delivered by A/T, PVHSS Subrata Dhar.
