Secretary AICC on Kohima district tour

Secretary AICC i/c Nagaland, Dr. K. Jayakumar started off his district tour from Kohima District Congress Committee office on May 8, under the chairmanship of KDCC president, Kevi Vizo along with ex-minister Seyiekuolie, all the PCC members, KDCC officials, ACCC officials and frontal officials under Kohima district. 
Dr K. Jayakumar encouraged the party leaders that impossible could be turned in to possible in Nagaland provided Congress set its goal at the right direction, therefore he impressed upon the party workers to be ever ready to work hard for the welfare of the people. 
He said that bad road condition would not deter him to convey to the people of Nagaland that the Congress believes in secularism and it wa the Congress only that could bring changes to the state. He added that it would be a huge setback for secularism and democracy if the citizens of the state, majority which follow single religion failed to realize the communal agenda of the day. 
Therefore he urged the party workers to keep in touch with the grass root level, plan strategies and gear up for the upcoming general election. 
He also directed the Kohima District Congress Committee to set up different committee in order to meticulously study and plan for party future.
Gen. Secy (Admn) Kohima District Congress Committee, Abalie Medoze, read out the representation which was submitted to the secretary AICC,  highlighting various issues concerning to the district as well as to the whole district.
PCC member Medokul Sophie, said time had come to realize that the days of NPF led DAN government was numbered as corruption had reached to its limit. He said that citizens were suffering, therefore in order to salvage the people the congress should be an alternative. 
PCC member, Khriedi Theünuo admitted zero MLAs from the district but was confident that the district would have added MLAs to the party in 2018. 
He also urged the party leaders to highlight the motto of clean election which was the need of the hour in order to arrest rampant corruption. 
He appealed the party top leaders to visit the state and impress the government of India to bring early solution to the Naga political issues.
Invocation was pronounced by Avikho Kruneilie, vice president Kohima District Congress Committee and vote of thanks was proposed by Khriesanyü Pienyü, vice president KDCC.
