Two-day screening camp for hearing impairment was held at Chief Medical Office, District Hospital Longleng from May 10 to 11, organized by National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), department of Health and Family Welfare.
Dr. Saku Imchen, ENT specialist IMDH Mokokchung and Michael, audiometrist District Hospital Dimapur, screened the patients. Altogether 287 patients were treated. Medicines and hearing aids were provided to patients. Dr. Imtiwapang Aier DPO (RCH/UIP) and staff of DH, Longleng attended the camp.
