Training programme on sugarcane cultivation held

One-day training programme on sugarcane cultivation was organized by District Agriculture Office, Wokha on May12 in Humtso village at Nsemo Yanthan sugarcane farm. The programme was conducted under Sustainable Development of Sugarcane Based Cropping System. Resource person Nzanbemo. T. Erui elaborated on the benefits, its importance and economical aspects of cultivating sugarcane. Nzanbemo also gave a detailed explanation about the package of practices of sugarcane cultivation. An interaction session and demonstration on sugarcane cultivation was also conducted. The programme was chaired by A.O, O. Eyingo Tungoe and vote of thanks was delivered by AFA Randanbemo Murry. Altogether 20 beneficiaries attended the programme.
