WDPA informs pensioners

All pensioners/family pensioners under Wokha district are informed that Wokha District Pensioners Association (WDPA) office will not entertain any case for forwarding additional pension on attaining 80 years of age or more, issue of succession certificate for family pension in the event of the death of the pensioner, authorization for drawal of monthly pension, issue of life certificate etc. without pensioners identity card ‘D’ issued from this office. WDPA president, Yihamo Patton informed that henceforth all unregistered pensioners should register with payment of all yearly fees as arrear with effect from the year of drawing monthly pension.

It also informed that during renewal of membership and issue of Life Certificate, all pensioners/family pensioners should either come personally or authorize the area executive members, and if any relative/other person was authorized for the same, a certificate from the pastor of the local church should be produced without fail. The above information are as per executive meeting resolutions with the approval at the general meeting held on May 5.
