19 years old Saurab Jain from Dimapur cracked the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) advanced engineering test 2017.
Saurab was placed 2195 in All India rank (AIR) and JEE Advanced with All India Rank (AIR) – 735 (with Maths- 98 Physics- 80 Chemistry- 93) out of nearly 12 lakh aspirants.
Saurab Jain son of Ashok Kumar Jain and Mamta Jain, a general category student, briefing media on Sunday about his success, said that he studied for 10 to 12 hours for the past two years. Saurab is aspiring for any of Top-3 IITs with branch Computer Science.
Taking 10 to 15 minutes break during his study hours, Saurab said that he had been out of touch with electronic gadgets and was not active in social media.
“I took coaching from Vibrant Academy, Kota (Rajasthan) and according to me, education from the school is not completely sufficient and coaching classes are essential for success”, said Saurab.
Saurab who loves listening to music considers meditation as vital for concentration.
