
With the aim to promote theatre play in the state and to contribute for the social cause the “Event Movers” team would be organizing the 1st edition “Theatre play” along with the Art and Culture department (Art wing) Nagaland and Modern Institute of teachers education on June 26, 4 p.m at RCEMPA Jotsoma with deputy director Art and culture, Vilalhou Noudi as the special guest.
This forthcoming programme was announced by the Event Movers team Elelvi Alo Kennao (entrepreneur), Aribah Kips (musician), K. Cynthia Kolakhe (fashion Artist) and also attended by Muzung Yimchunger (costume designer) and Louis Chhetri (photographer) during press conference held at Dream Café Kohima on Thursday afternoon.
The Event Movers team said they have passion to do something different instead of monotonous activity by organizing theatre play which was rare event in the state capital. Members said they wanted to help out and support the needy children for education with this event. They also want to encourage the talented youth in theatre play and wish to bring some changes through such events.
Kolakhe who also is a theatre play teacher in B.Ed. college said that the play would be in three parts on ‘last attempt’ based on Naga identity, secondly on ‘last hope’ about Christianity and lastly on the topic ‘next education’. She informed the theatre play would be of around 1 and half hour duration to be performed by the students of Modern Institute of Teachers’ Education and other three B. Ed colleges of Kohima like from Ura Academy, Sazolie College and Nagaland College of Teachers’ Education would be witnessing the show.
The organizers informed that it would be free entry, however there would free will donation during the show to help out needy students.
