
Two-day summer camp organized by Assembly of God Higher Secondary School (AGHSS), Dimapur under the theme “Beat the Heat” culminated Friday.
Resource person of the programme, Worship Director at Warehouse pastor Jack Pucho encouraged the students to remember the creator at the young age, by reading the word of God so that they will be able to know Him better.
He also encouraged the students to dream big by living an exemplary life. “There is nothing we cannot accomplish with His tendency, in you will be limited but in Christ you will be unlimited.” he added.
Local artist Nise Meruno attended the camp as special appearance and interacted with the students.
Resource person of the first day programme, Father’s House Church senior pastor, Rev Robert Kikon encouraged the students to be a radical Christian.
Altogether, 450 students took part at the camp where the students were divided into different groups. 35 teachers assisted in imparting Christian values during the camp.
Various activities such as music, story-telling, praise and worship, arts and crafts, movie screening and competitions were the highlights of the camp.
According to school principal David Ngullie, the camp witnessed positive response from the students. He opined that the main aim of organizing the programme was to bring students closer to God. He further informed that the school will be organizing school fest in the month of November.
