Twelve NPF division presidents of Dimapur, Kohima, Tseminyu, Pughoboto, Wokha, Phek, Zunheboto, Kiphiri, Tuensang, Mokokchung, Longleng and Mon have extended unflinching support to the leadership of NPF president and chief minister, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu.
In a statement, president NPF Wokha division Mhonthung Patton who chaired the meeting and president NPF Zunheboto division (meeting recorder) Akavi Sumi said the divisions resolved to strongly uphold any political decision taken by Dr. Shürhozelie. The division also urged upon the NPF legislators camped at Kaziranga to return to Kohima and fall back into the party fold in the interest of the party and to serve the Naga people, saying “the party’s door is still open to them”. The divisions also urged the legislators to reconsider their commitment to serve the people as promised during their election campaign.
