Speaker asks CM to consult Gov for floor test

Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Imtiwapang Aier in a letter addressed to Nagaland chief minister, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu, has urged him to consult the Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya, in regard to the floor test which the latter had summoned. The Speaker in this regard said that the proposal was put up to the CM on July 11, and requested the CM “to take the call in consultation with the Governor without involving the office of the Speaker, which needs to be kept above partisan ends”.
