Village Health Committee (VHC) old Jalukie village under National Health Project (NHP) organized a general medical camp on August 25 at old Jalukie sector C under Peren district Nagaland, with Dr. Ramheigumbe and Dr. Lungkeuding as resource persons.
In a press note by chairman, VHC old Jalukie, Kebabe stated that, during the program the resource persons disseminated the awareness on sanitation and hygienic living as cleanliness was next to Godliness.
They also emphasized on spiritual healing and physical healing, and encouraged to maintain immunization records, awareness on drinking good quality water etc.
Earlier, the program was chaired by VDB secretary, old Jalukie, Izi Kenn, and invocation by pastor Zieroying, while welcome address was delivered by GB, old Jalukie, Gaugong. Dituing, thanked the resource persons and benediction was pronounced by g GB old Jalukie village, Inrangruing.
The medical team also facilitated the villagers with free medical check up to more than 40 patients, and also provided free medicines to ASHA workers for the villagers.
