The interim governing body COC & I Tuensang under the leadership of Dorothy and Nasset, initiated a workshop on Consumer Protection Act (CPA) at town hall, Tuensang.
According to DIPR report, Brig. M. S. Siddhu, DIG 7 Sector Assam rifles as chief guest encouraged the gathering to get well acquainted with the consumer acts and its right. Col. A. H. Khan Addl. DG 7 sector Assam Rifles spoke on entrepreneurship and its necessity for the expansion of the local economy while Depak Dayal, Commandant 40 AR also spoke on the prevention of HIV and drug abuse in Nagaland.
Other speakers like president CKS, president TVCU, FSO CMO, department of Legal Meteorology & Consumer Protection and Dept. of Taxes also contributed short speeches.
The second session was conducted with the help of NSLSA and TSLSA officials. The programme was attended by shopkeepers of Tuensang, other NGOs and citizens of Tuensang.
