
Adviser, Soil and Water Conservation and NSDMA, Pukhayi Sumi graced the first memorial lecture of Iza Sutoli Yeptho K. Tsaikha Shohe Foundation on the “a woman of noble character” (Ruth 3:11) held at Jambo- Kheka (JK) building Nepali Bosti, Dimapur on the 5th death anniversary of Aza Sutoli Tsaikha on September 9.
After lighting the candle, Pukhayi said, “the essence of a happy family is to repose love, faith and honour, which is cherished by all individuals; would be a radiance and source of inspiration to family after families”.
Besides other speakers, Dr. Kiyeho Yeptho, principal, Living Bible College (LBC) Ayinato, Vihokhu village, profusely shed light on the memorial lecture. He added, “a woman of substance is noted by the charity deeds and positive attitude towards uplifting the community as an integral part.”
One of the leading groups namely the “female voice” of the NCRC(S) Dimapur presented a rhapsody, while the Foundation donated and handed over a cheque to the principal and chairman LBC to give a facelift to the college. Foundation’s dedicatory prayer was offered by Rev. Ahoshe Sema, Pastor, NCRC(S) Dimapur.
The program was serenaded by Pianist Ngukali Yeptho, music director, Chekiye Baptist Church. Pukhayi was accompanied by parliamentary secretary law and justice, Er. Picto Shohe, additional director and HoD of Soil & Water conservation, Nandeshwore Singh and hosts of relatives, friends and various church leaders.
