District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) Peren conducted sensitization program on HIV & AIDS, teenage pregnancy, stigma and discrimination at Government Higher Secondary School Peren.
The resource persons for the programme were DPO DAPCU Peren, Rovi Mor, DIS Peren, Ngauzeulungbe, programme assistant, Pauheugau, accountant DAPCU Peren, Ekiebe, M&E assistant DAPCU Peren, Heluipoing and counsellor MICTC Peren, Hiareu. During the programme, free blood grouping and HIV testing was also availed by 64 students. Altogether 324 students from classes VIII to class XII were sensitized.
