ACAUT has strongly condemns the “bogus syndicate group by the name Anti Corruption and Crime Investigation Front (ACCIF)” with its headquarters at Purana Bazar, Dimapur.
In a press note, ACAUT media cell alleged that the ACCIF had been harassing the business community in the East Dimapur area jurisdiction by demanding tax and donation and in some instances even threatened business owners.
ACAUT said: “The audacity of these people to go to any length to make money is just dumb founding especially when the whole of Nagaland populace is fed up with the menace of illegal taxation.” It said two persons were nabbed by the Dimapur police– Longritemjen, vice chairman ACCIF/Purana Bazar village council member and advisor ACCIF Pradeep Sethi, resident of Marwari Patti, Dimapur.
ACAUT lauded Dimapur police for nabbing the kingpins and also appealed to the police to arrest other members. ACAUT also urged the court to award the most stringent punishment.
